Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) has inaugurated a new Crew Service Centre (CSC) in Denpasar, located on the Indonesian island of Bali. This new facility focuses on the growing demand for hospitality professionals in the cruise sector. It marks another milestone in BSM’s expansion and its commitment to supporting Indonesia’s increasing prominence in the global hospitality and maritime industries.

Designed to accommodate around 45 employees, the office is dedicated to recruiting and placing Indonesian hospitality staff for cruise ship hotel and culinary roles, as well as personnel for land-based hospitality services. The opening ceremony, which incorporated traditional Balinese customs, was attended by approximately 100 participants, including representatives from key business partners, hotel and culinary training schools, and local honorary guests.

BSM Cruise Services Bali is set to become a key contributor to employment opportunities for Indonesian hospitality professionals in the cruise industry, strengthening the country’s reputation in the global hospitality sector.
